A Huge Thank You to Danbury High School!

I am filled with gratitude after spending time at Danbury High School providing therapeutic chair massages for their incredible teaching staff. It was an absolute honor to serve the educators who give so much of themselves to our community every single day.

Seeing the tension melt away from a teacher’s shoulders after a long morning in the classroom is exactly why I do what I do.

Why Teachers Need This (And Why Schools Benefit)

Teaching is one of the most physically and emotionally demanding professions. Between standing for hours, grading, and the mental load of managing a classroom, burnout is a real threat. Chair massage isn't just a "treat"—it’s a powerful tool for institutional wellness.

Boosts Productivity: A quick 15-minute session resets the nervous system, helping teachers return to their classrooms with renewed focus and energy.

Reduces Sick Days: Regular massage therapy is known to boost the immune system and lower cortisol levels, meaning fewer "under-the-weather" days during allergy season or when stress levels are elevated.

Improves Morale: When an administration brings in wellness services, it sends a clear message: “We value you.” That recognition is the best fuel for a positive school culture.

Bring Wellness to Your Workplace

The best part? It is incredibly affordable and easy to implement. You don’t need a spa—just a quiet corner or a breakroom.

While I loved my time with the DHS Hatters, I also work with other local schools and hospitals to host dedicated wellness events. Whether it's for Teacher Appreciation Week, Nurses Week, or just a "Self-Care Tuesday," a chair massage event is a high-impact, low-cost way to support your hardest-working employees.
